We know, we know…this is just a couple weeks behind schedule, but better late than never, right?!
Putting the obvious social situations aside, this has been an unprecedented year and we are ready to embrace moving forward with this community pushing each other toward improved health and dedication in our pursuits. We also know that you have a variety of choices you can make when it comes to how you are going to maintain your personal sphere of wellness so we will be doing our best to give you options that are both appealing, but also challenging. Hopefully, we all know that the real progress is made when we push ourselves out of our comfort zones so our goal will be to give you the opportunity to do just that, intelligently and with great direction!
First off, who are we?!?
This last year has been one of great transition for our team. We relocated from one location (near Starbucks on Tahoe Blvd) down the street to the Village Center shopping plaza (across from the Post Office and Village Market) and made the switch from our previous ownership to a new partnership between Kristin and Trever to bring about the changes we both determined the community would embrace in their fitness and wellness journeys.
During the transition period we wanted to make it clear to our existing members that we were still around to provide their Pilates instruction, so we created a temporary branding of Tahoe Core Pilates to make it clear exactly what we do in our new location while we worked on building the other side of our goals. That other side is the Group Fitness program that helps us fill out the class schedules and ultimately creates the larger structure of Tahoe Fitness Loft. So, when you see the Tahoe Core Pilates logo around town or online be sure that is still a part of our brand but is now nestled comfortably underneath the larger umbrella of Tahoe Fitness Loft to bring everything we have to offer under one roof.
We have organized a team of highly educated and skilled instructors that all share a common pursuit of showing you how capable you really are! Each of us has a focus that drives our individual programs and classes so you will always have a new avenue to explore on your journey. We are not here to say it must be done one way or the other, but rather that EFFORT is required to stay at optimum health. And when you are ready to put that effort out to improve your mobility, strength, endurance, or simply your overall health we want to be the people you trust to help you take those steps in the direction of self-improvement!
We made the decision to create a space with rooms for structured classes and private sessions. We have elected to move away from the “Open Gym” structure so we can keep the facility & equipment clean, sanitary, and organized. Additionally, this provides us the opportunity to have greater impact on your time spent when you do come to the studio. We want you to use your time effectively, so we make sure to have a plan in place for any class or private session you sign up for. This is where the rubber meets the road! Having a plan in place for your workouts will yield much greater results so why not let us do that planning for you?!

We have expanded our class schedules to give you choices for more variety in your weekly or monthly routines. The group fitness program is something we are extremely excited to continue building out to bring new and progressive challenges to our members.
At this point, our group fitness classes include:
Winter Sports Conditioning
And we will always be looking to add fun new programs in the future if there is interest from the community so don't forget to let us know if there is something we should be including.
We are also happy to provide Personal Training instruction from certified and accredited professionals that can focus on a variety of areas, but will all have a similar focus of using very little added weight to achieve our goals. The training team has a genuine drive to educate you on challenging yourself with the weight you carry around each day and how to get more effective in doing so. It's amazing how effective this approach can be!

We will always do what we can to support local businesses that provide another building block of support for you. We recognize that we are only one piece to the puzzle when it comes to overall health and we will always work to do our part to ensure we fulfill our end of the bargain while you’re with us.

Let’s start a new culture in this community. One that promotes personal and community growth with support, health, education, empowerment, and passion. Much of what we will do at the studio will be focused on the core and expanding out from there. We feel like this is a great metaphor for the bigger picture of our lives as well.
