Trained in classical and contemporary techniques from PhysicalMind, Balanced Body, Alison Franco, Monica Anderson- ITT, and Sarah George-Johnson. 


Studied Kinesiology and Dance at Sonoma State.

Kristin Nelson

Amanda began her journey as a Pilates Instructor in June 2015 when she started her teacher training. Since then, she has completed her Comprehensive certification through Balanced Body® and she has also added Barre classes into her teaching repertoire.

Amanda looks forward to sharing her love for all things active and her passion for movement with all of you!

Kristin is a Balanced Body® Certified Pilates and Barre instructor with over 15+ years of experience.  As a division 3 college tennis player, and longtime athlete enjoying many sports, she realized early on the importance of core strength and flexibility. She went through most of her certification training including mat, barre, reformer and anatomy through the Balanced Body educational program, and began working for Tahoe Perfect Workout in 2013.  In 2020 she took ownership of the Incline Village and Tahoe City locations of Tahoe Perfect Workout, and changed the name to Tahoe Core Pilates.
